We used these on a two-week trip along with 7th Generation disposables and GroBaby disposable inserts with covers. The Flips are great because they don't have any plastic in them at all, but I found them to be very bulky (especially when wet) and a bit awkward to fold for a smaller baby. Because they are large they took up a lot of room in the suitcase. The GroBaby inserts (now GroVia) have gusseted sides and come in two sizes so you don't have to fold them to fit the baby. I preferred them over the Flips. The pro (or con, depending on how you look at it) is that when they are wet the baby can feel it because they don't have a super absorbent gel core, making them more like a cloth diaper. They are also cheaper than buying disposables like 7th Gen.
